Dove commits to Upper Iowa volleyball

Carlee Dove sees a small community like Dike on the campus of Upper Iowa University.

That's one of the factors that influenced her decision to join the Peacocks volleyball program in Fayette after the Dike-New Hartford senior wraps up her final season with the Wolverines.

Upper Iowa was the only school Dove visited, and it just worked for her.

"I enjoyed the atmosphere," Dove said. "The coach is great and I'm just really excited to meet and play with new people."

D-NH's Foster commits to UW-Green Bay

For Ellie Foster, the first instinct was the best instinct.

The Dike-New Hartford girls basketball standout, now in her junior year with the Wolverines, chose the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to continue her basketball playing career earlier this fall.

The decision was between the Phoenix, Illinois State and South Dakota State, but in the back of her mind Foster said she always felt that Green Bay, the first school she visited, was the right pick.
