Construction on track at new AGWSR elementary school

ACKLEY — Passers-by the new AGWSR elementary school can see the progress. The walls are up, brick on the facade and frames in place for windows. And, according to AGWSR Superintendent Marty Jimmerson, things are right on track.
Jimmerson said Tuesday that the project for a new elementary school in Ackley is on target to open at the end of November as scheduled.
“We hope to have it open right around Thanksgiving,” he said. “We’ve been talking, weather-permitting, about doing some moving in toward the end of that last week of November.”
